Sensory spaces at Gympanzees

We’re delighted to announce that Gympanzees’ brand‑new, purpose‑built centre in Aust, South Gloucestershire – opening in 2026 – will soon be home to beautifully equipped sensory rooms, thanks to a £30,142 socio‑economic funding boost from NRS.

This support will help bring a range of specialist equipment to life, including:

• Immersive sensory lighting
• Interactive projection systems
• Tactile and textured wall panels
• Adjustable sensory equipment designed with wheelchair users in mind
• Sound systems for music therapy and calming audio experiences.

These additions will help create both stimulating and soothing spaces where children and young people can play, explore and relax in ways that feel right for them.
