Nuclear materials transfer target achieved

The nuclear materials transfer team based in B462 complex at Harwell site have recently achieved their 2023/24 target of 85% (overall project scope). A total of 5655 waste drums have now been shipped to Sellafield and Capenhurst since the project began, using a fleet of specialist radioactive materials transport packages, namely Full Height ISO containers, TN-Gemini, Modular Flask and Novapak.
