First major concrete pour at Trawsfynydd

Principal contractor JN Bentley is making great progress with the replacement sewage treatment plant at Trawsfynydd. The first major concrete pour has been completed for the rotating biological contactor enclosure and the retaining walls and inlet diversion chamber have been constructed.

Dave Hobbs, Project Manager, notes: “There has been a lot of hard work by the project team supported by the enabling functions to get to this point, and it is now good to see visible signs of these efforts.”

The focus over the next few months will be on completing the remaining civil structures and transporting the plant items being manufactured off site into the proposed areas.
