50 tonnes of waste stored at Berkeley

Berkeley site recently received its 20th active concrete box into the Interim Storage Facility (ISF). This takes the total to 50 tonnes of waste retrieved into concrete boxes, processed at the modular intermediate level waste encapsulation plant and placed in storage.

This is a huge achievement for the site and has been accomplished by a great team effort. The team had to overcome the introduction of new plant, processes and documentation to reach this milestone, while ensuring both safety and compliance were maintained.

Well done to the entire team!
